The Governing Body has overall responsibility for admissions to the school. In cases where the child does not have automatic right of entry to the school, the sub-committee of the governors will consider representations made by parents and then make a recommendation to the full Governing Body.

Children are admitted according to the following criteria:

i) Children baptised as Roman Catholics
ii) Children baptised of other recognised Christian denominations whose parents wish their child to receive a Christian education
iii) Other children who meet Governors requirements that the parent(s) sincerely wish for a Christian and moral ethos to be imparted to their child, without reservation on the part of the parent.

In order to preserve the Roman Catholic nature of the school, admissions in i) and ii) should not exceed 15% of the number on the school roll.
